...hug the hurt

“It’s like a mother: when the baby is crying, she picks up the baby and she holds the baby tenderly in her arms. Your pain, your anxiety is your baby. You have to take care of it. You have to go back to yourself, to recognize the suffering in you. Embrace the suffering, and you get relief.”Thich Nhat Hanh

The inconsolable baby (all the uncomfortable feelings arising within) is our inner-child clamouring for our acceptance, attention and affection.

We're not vulnerable little ones hanging on others/adults (EXTERNAL) to fulfil our intrinsic need for ‘healthy grieving’.

No matter how bitterly broken the feeling is, we are capable of holding it through and through.

Why not claim our rise by taking the grasp back from our

  • avoidance

  • fear

  • doubt

  • guilt

  • remorse

  • shame

  • hiding

  • worrying

  • fleeing

  • numbing

  • appeasing

  • detachment

Let’s love ourselves unabashedly to 'feel' the feelings wholeheartedly without adding scripts/blame game (thus giving our power away).

Each one of us is an infinite reservoir of unconditional love…shall we choose to break all the barriers (ego defences) to immerse in the joy of being.🤗
