...emotions engaged
Updated: Feb 18

Emotions are expressions of innate experiences of our environment.
Action (trauma/incident) đ Reaction (emotion/feeling)
Our emotions (primordial power) alarm us when basic needs (security, caring, control, purpose, happiness) seem to be at risk.
When a child faces trauma, unable to process the emotion (distress+shame / fear+shame / anger+shame / guilt+shame), its energy(inner-child) is abandoned/blocked/numbed/frozen/rejected.
As the emotion is NOT âexperienced/feltâ, the mind phases out interpretation/resolution of the trauma.
That unfinished (emotion/feeling) tab remains open in our unconscious/conscious/subconscious mind waiting to be resolved & closed.
As we grow older, this âoriginal painâ intensifies by expanding similar/repetitive charged loop as our trigger points.
The wounded inner-child is tense with unresolved energy resulting from the sadness of childhood suffering.
To be 'present to receive NOWâ- we need to grieve over (mourn/suffer/sob/weep/cry/howl/rage/repent/regret/redeem) and resolve our past pain.
...beyond this acute anxiety lies the joy of being unconditional love đš
