...inner-parents

Updated: Mar 16

Exploring Inner-child therapy, acknowledging & resolving hard feelings about the way we got raised, ancestral wisdom begins to awaken.

As we validate and nurture inner-child vulnerabilities, awareness of inner-father/mother parenting (pattern) is crucial.

Being aware & angry about traumatic childhood is normal, but as an adult, running away (projecting/blaming/distracting/bypassing) from inner-pain is re-abandoning & disempowering ourselves.

Do our inner-parents disapprove of us with fault-finding, numbing, depriving, shaming, gaslighting, manipulating & criticising?

What is the relationship with our inner-mother/father?

Who is nurturing us internally?

🤔 ??

Unknowingly, the inner-parent takes on the overall (biological father + biological mother + family + extended family + patriarch + matriarch + community + culture + religion + locale + country) conditional & conditioned parenting received earlier & repeat+replay childhood.

In the process of recovering all lost parts, we need to resolve the inner-mother/father’s unresolved anguish.

Healing the inner-father/mother wounds grounds us in unconditional self-love from where we can draw emotional energy to face life.

Taking a step towards retrieving our disowned selves, paying the debts to our ancestors &

being abashedly in love with being our complete selves

– is THE way.

😇 🙌🏼
